• Everyone has something to teach! There's something that YOU are authority on. Anything from canning to coding, fashion to French, how to make beer, or how to build a kite. Someone wants to know what you know.
• Citizen Scholar teachers get paid base hourly rates plus per-student bonuses. It's a great way to earn a little extra. (See teacher terms for details.)
• Teaching is a great way to connect with other like-minded individuals and expand your social circle. People have come to your class because you know something they want to know- it's a wonderful opportunity to get a new perspective on your ideas.

Pitch your class!

Send us a quick note about what you’d like to teach, and what qualifies you to teach it. While we encourage teachers, grad students and professionals, the self-taught, hobbyists, and makers are welcome!  No special credentials required. Just be an expert in whatever it is you want to teach, and be able to illustrate your expertise in your pitch.
